Product Update — 18 – 19 April 2026

E-Sign gets a major editor upgrade with structured quick fields, conditional field visibility, snap-to-align guides, N/A toggles, and mandatory field completion before signing. Inbox rebuilt as person-centric with archive support. CV parser auto-extracts contact details. Tenant management gains soft-delete with restore. Full AI cost metering and per-tenant P&L dashboard for admins. Multiple production bug fixes across contact deletion, inbox rendering, LinkedIn message sync, and email delivery.

E-Sign Editor Overhaul

• Section-based quick fields — Quick fields reorganised into contract sections: Client Details (A), Commercial Terms (B), Permanent Fee (C1), Retained Stages (C2), and Signing Block (D). One-click placement for 33 fields covering the full Terms of Business template.
• Conditional field visibility — Set show/hide rules on any field based on another field’s value. E.g. show “Full Fee %” only when Fee Model = Percentage. Rules evaluated live on the signer page and respected by the PDF stamper.
• Snap alignment — Fields snap to the left/right/centre edges of other fields during placement and drag. Amber guide lines appear to show the alignment edge. Horizontal-only for precise table layouts.
• Field size inheritance — Place one field, resize it, and every subsequent placement matches that size — regardless of field type.
• N/A toggle — Fee and retained-stage fields get a one-click N/A button on the signer page. Toggle between N/A and free text input.
• Stage trigger dropdowns — Retained stage triggers are now dropdowns: Prior to Commencement of Search, Shortlist Presentation, On Offer Accepted, On Commencement, N/A.
• All fields required before submit — Every visible field (text, dropdown, date, signature, signer name) must be completed before Sign & Submit enables. Incomplete fields highlighted with amber outline.
• PDF rendering fix — Fixed white space appearing to the right of narrower PDFs in the editor.
• Resend email fix — Resend button now verifies the email was actually accepted by the delivery provider. Previously could silently fail on bounced addresses.

Inbox Overhaul

• Person-centric threading — Inbox now shows one row per contact instead of one row per email subject. Messages grouped by subject within each expanded row, sorted by latest activity.
• Role tabs — Filter by All, Prospects, or Contacts with live counts and role badges.
• Archive & delete — Per-user thread archive with dedicated Archive tab and count badge. Delete requires archiving first. Actions scoped to user’s connected inboxes.
• Width fix — Long email addresses no longer blow past the viewport. Name column shrinks gracefully on narrow screens.

Tenant Management

• Soft-delete tenants — Delete now uses soft-delete with user deactivation instead of permanent removal. Type-to-confirm modal requires exact tenant name.
• Restore button — One-click restore from the Deleted Tenants panel on the admin dashboard.
• Deactivated users section — Inactive and deleted-tenant users moved into a collapsible panel, keeping the main Users table clean.

System Email Overhaul

• 2 new discovery emails — E-Sign discovery (Day 14) and Prospects discovery (Day 27) added to the lifecycle sequence.
• 10 existing emails updated — Screenshots refreshed and new feature callouts added across welcome, onboarding, and weekly digest emails.
• Cross-linking — Prospect detail pages now show Find Email/Phone buttons, Email + Call history tabs, and cross-nav to linked contact files.

Bug Fixes

• Contact delete errors resolved — Fixed errors when deleting contacts that had linked inbox emails, prospects, or message history.
• LinkedIn message contamination — Fixed messages from unknown peers being wrongly attributed to the currently viewed profile. Server-side validation added on all sync endpoints.
• Inbox button clicks opening threads — Archive/delete buttons no longer trigger the parent row’s expand/collapse.
• E-Sign field buttons invisible — Copy, condition, and delete buttons were clipped by overflow:hidden. Now render inside the field with proper z-index.
• Email delivery verification — System email sender now verifies delivery acceptance. Previously could report success on failed sends.
