October 2026: your Desk, calendar and team, joined up — Month to date · 12–23 October

TL;DR

The second half of October joins up the work you do every day. Your Desk now shows where each company sits in your process, with one menu to move it on. Your calendars, booking links and meeting notes sit together, and your agency’s branding and signatures follow your emails, bookings and shared documents.

This is a month-to-date update covering 12–23 October, following our 1–11 October update. Availability continues to depend on your plan, permissions and connected services.

Your Desk and company work

  • A clear journey for every company — companies on your Desk move through New, Contacting, Connected and Qualified, then Nurture or Closed. One menu on each row lets you change stage, log a call, set the next step or close. Closed companies stay out of your way unless you choose to show them, and can’t be called or messaged by mistake.
  • Call from your Desk — where calling is enabled for your account, dial a company straight from its Desk row, with the outcome kept on that company’s journey.
  • Cleaner job leads — more reliable scraping, a clear retry message if a start fails, and scraped jobs you can search by company. A desk’s target head-office countries now keep out overseas employers, with less recruiter and job-aggregator noise. Jobs from private advertisers are no longer dropped by mistake.
  • Who you spoke to last — sort candidates and prospects by Last Contact, newest first. Exclude a company from a candidate’s market profile with a private reason, and outreach to that company stops.

Jobs and candidates

  • From client brief to job ad draft — upload a job brief or position description (PDF or Word) to create the job, then generate a private job ad draft to review. Imported jobs stay unlisted until you activate them, publishing still needs your approval, and drafting a job ad doesn’t use credits.
  • Desk import addresses and candidate emails — give each desk its own import email address to forward roles and CVs. Write to candidates with a review step that confirms exact recipients, and attach an approved role PDF.
  • Fewer surprises — Filled jobs with confirmed placements can’t be reopened by accident, CVs forwarded by another agency are matched to the right person, and the e-sign editor highlights fields not yet given to a signer.

Calendar, bookings and meetings

  • One calendar — see your connected calendars side by side with clear account labels. Events you create or change in Kolvera appear within seconds, and interview bookings show which calendar they’ll go to.
  • Branded booking links — booking pages and confirmation emails carry your agency’s branding. Double-bookings are prevented, guests can reschedule or cancel themselves, and hosts manage availability, calendars, questions and reminders in one editor.
  • Better meeting notes — easier-to-read transcripts with timestamps and consistent speakers, notes kept when you stop the notetaker early, and full-transcript copy. Share reviewed notes by email with chosen attendees, previewing the summary and your signature first. Available where the notetaker is enabled on your plan.

Calls and messages

  • Recordings for the whole team — every team member can play and download recordings, and download transcripts, for calls they can see. Workspace admins can review calls across the workspace.
  • Voicemail templates — save voicemail scripts as team defaults with personal versions on top, then review an editable follow-up draft that’s sent only when you choose. “Wrong number” now asks first and removes only that number.
  • Texting and numbers — accounts with SMS can send to a group, with consent and opt-out checks on every message. 1300 numbers now dial correctly, and a personal number rings only its owner.

Research and outreach

  • Deeper company research — findings come with their supporting evidence, interrupted runs pick up where they stopped, and you can expand a report when you want more. Research pricing is unchanged; failed attempts aren’t charged.
  • More reliable intelligence reports — reports generate more consistently, and private reports stay private to you when shared, downloaded or emailed.
  • Sharper sequences — new sequences and candidate float drafts start with three short touches, opening with recent, dated hiring news. Preview a sequence before it starts.

Your workspace and team

  • Agency branding in one place — set your logo, colours and artwork once, with division and team overrides, carried through to your job board, forms, booking pages and shared reports.
  • Team signatures — paste a signature from your email client, or let admins set and enforce one design for the team. Members can add a title, two phone numbers and a second email, phone numbers read clearly, and personal contact details stay on your own account.
  • Notifications and shortcuts — the bell has Activity, Reports, Imports and System tabs with their own unread counts, single or tab-wide mark-as-read, and keyboard access. Five footer shortcuts take you to the places you use most.
  • Admin controls and privacy — only admins can change shared workspace playbooks. Deleting or merging a candidate also removes stored copies of their emails, and merging contacts only affects contacts you can see.
