Credit cost changes: Deep Research, Intelligence Reports & Expand — 5 July 2026

TL;DR

We believe pricing changes should never be silent. In early July 2026 we adjusted the credit cost of three of our heaviest AI features, and this is the dedicated record of it.

Deep Research is now 6 credits per run (was 3). Deep Research Expand is now 4 credits per expansion (was 2). Intelligence Reports are now 15 credits (was 10).

Each of these runs deep web research and multi-pass AI synthesis — the new prices reflect what they genuinely cost to produce. Nothing else moved: enrolling contacts, generating campaign copy, contact search and job scraping are all unchanged, and Deep Research now refunds your credits automatically if a run fails.

What changed

  • Deep Research — now 6 credits per run, up from 3. Discovers companies matching your profile from a freeform brief, running two rounds of AI analysis over live web research.
  • Deep Research Expand — now 4 credits per expansion, up from 2. Finds more companies from the same brief.
  • Intelligence Reports — now 15 credits, up from 10. Market and role reports that run extensive web research and multi-pass AI synthesis (Pro and Agency plans).

Why

  • The prices reflect real cost — These three features are our most research- and AI-intensive. At the old prices they cost more to produce than they returned, so the new prices bring them back into line rather than being subsidised by the rest of your credits.
  • Everything else is unchanged — Enrolling contacts, generating campaign copy, contact search and job scraping all cost exactly what they did before.
  • Automatic refunds on failure — Deep Research now refunds your credits automatically if a run hits a terminal failure, so you never pay for a result you didn't get.
