The New Desk wizard now asks where your desk operates. Pick a location and every scan sticks to it — no more roles from cities you don't work. Job boards follow suit: desks scoped to Australia or New Zealand scan SEEK, UK desks scan Reed, and LinkedIn and Indeed scope to your chosen market.
Hiring signals now tell you the truth about time. Every signal shows when the role was posted (“posted 3w ago · still advertised”) — and a role that's been open for weeks is its own signal. Expired ads age out within 30 days, so your board only shows live demand.
The board itself is cleaner: cards say Added automatically when the desk filed them for you, and the actions are plainly Hide and Not relevant. Discovery now paginates instead of cutting off.
Three new guides walk through Hiring Signals, New Contacts from Replies, and the Morning Briefing.
Location Picker on the New Desk Wizard
- Pick where your desk operates — The New Desk wizard now includes an explicit Location step. Choose a country (and cities where it matters) and the desk remembers it.
- Scoped scanning — Every job-board scan the desk runs stays inside that location, so a Sydney desk never fills up with roles from London.
Honest Hiring-Signal Dating
- Real posted dates — Signals now read “posted 3w ago · still advertised” instead of pretending every role is fresh. A role that's been open for weeks tells you the company is struggling to fill it — that's a signal in itself.
- Expired ads age out — Ads that are no longer live disappear from your board within 30 days, so you're only ever looking at live demand.
A Cleaner Board
- Clearer labels — Cards the desk filed for you now say Added automatically, and the card actions are plainly Hide and Not relevant — no guessing what a button does.
- Discovery pagination — The Discovery strip now pages through everything it found instead of stopping at the first batch.
Per-Country Job Boards
- Boards matched to your market — Desks scoped to Australia or New Zealand scan SEEK, UK desks scan Reed, and LinkedIn and Indeed scans scope to your chosen country automatically.
