Confirm permanent placements against a client's job and candidate Shortlist. Keep agreed terms, history and follow-up work together, then review your revenue outlook in Placements Forecast.

Confirm a placement

  1. Open the client job and candidate's Shortlist entry.
  2. Check candidate, job, currency, agreed fee, start date and guarantee end date. Check whether this is a replacement placement.
  3. Confirm only when those details reflect the agreed outcome. Recording an offer or changing a general candidate status is not placement confirmation.
  4. Review the placement record and follow-up tasks. Keep candidate and client next actions linked to the correct placement.

Follow-ups and corrections

A guarantee end date can create a linked follow-up task. Candidate and client placement follow-ups are available through API & MCP. Review pending actions after correcting a start or guarantee date; a reviewed correction can reschedule pending follow-ups.

Completing, snoozing or cancelling a task changes that task's workflow. Review the placement itself when terms or outcomes need correction.

Reverse an incorrect outcome

Use placement reversal when a confirmed placement must be reversed. Enter the reason and review the effect before confirming. Reversal retains history and updates the forecast; it does not erase the original outcome. Starting a second Shortlist outcome for that candidate and role after reversal is not available yet.

Read the forecast

Open Placements Forecast and choose monthly or quarterly periods. Open pipeline, weighted forecast and confirmed placement revenue describe different stages of work; none is a payment receipt or invoice.

Forecasts separate currencies and client fees from platform rewards. Unknown currency and incomplete fee or expected-date information can appear as exceptions rather than revenue. Review exceptions and underlying terms before relying on totals. A replacement job should not be treated as a fresh fee.

Reports reflect accessible jobs and placements. Ask your administrator about broader team reporting. These tools track recruiting outcomes; they do not collect client payments.
